Tunica Manufactured Housing Show 2012 Photo Gallery

April 1st, 2012 joe No comments

As I write this, after returning home via Amtrack's "City of New Orleans", the 2012 Tunica Manufactured Housing Show is now history. 1178 attendees, 331 suppliers and 460 manufacturers came; including owners, executives, managers and staff attended, as of 9:54 AM on Friday March 30, 2012. Manufactured housing state executives, retailers, community operators, installers, transporters, lenders, insurance and other professionals came.

Get a snap shot of what brought them into Harrah's Convention Center in the pages that follow. The homes were displayed outdoors with over 80 homes from some 23 builders, and you will see them all soon in part two of this exciting double-feature.

The new April 2012 Feature Articles are ready, and here is this month's line up for professionals!

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT & FAIR HOUSING (LEGAL)

• Ouch! That Burns!

by Nadeen Green, JD

nadeen-green-50

This is a brief message that has nothing at all to do with fair housing (my usual topic upon which I expound), but which I felt compelled to share. Recently in Atlanta (my home base) we had an apartment community fire (sadly, that in and of itself is not news).

• NEW Manufactured Home Land Lease Community Development. . . If not now, when?

by Eddie Hicks

eddie-hicks-50

Now, in early 2012 we are seeing a fairly rapid filling of area apartments to capacity, with the result that many landlords are increasing rents, and eliminating many of the incentives they were offering just a year or two ago. This "surge" is due in part to a pent up demand for housing by those displaced from their defaulted mortgages, and an inability to repair their credit to former levels to qualify for the purchase of another home so soon after the foreclosure, and the general increase in employment due to an apparent increase in consumer spending, creating hopefully an end to the long, long recession.

• They’re Heeeerrrrrrree: The Wind and Hail Season

by Kurt Kelly, JD

As the recent storm activity proves, the wind and hail months are here. It’s the time of year insurance companies, property owners, and business owners dread. Historically, one half of all wind and hail losses in the U.S. outside the coastal areas occur between April 1st and June 30th.

• Need to evict deadbeat tenant? Let your Health Dept. do it!

by John Merchant, JD

john-merchant-jd-50

“What? Now how in the world would that work and why in the world might the Health Dept. be interested in doing that? And what would give them that right?”

Well, in many (most? all?) cities and counties around the country, it’s a violation of their Municipal Ordinances or County Regs and state laws, and their Health Regulations in particular, to live in any residence without lights, water or sewer or septic all working and in order.

• Rate War Resumes: Major MH Lender Lowers Rates, best terms in the Industry

by Dave Shanklin

dave-shanklin-50

It appears that the “rate war” that started last summer among our MH lenders is continuing.

Our major lender based in San Diego last week announced a deep cut in its floor rate for top-tier loan applicants. Their new “floor” rate has dipped below 6% for 1992 and newer homes in Manufactured Home Land Lease Communities (MH LLC’s), with 20% down and FICO scores of 740 and higher.

• Perception or Reality: Framing the Truth

by Martin V. "Marty" Lavin, JD

marty-lavin-50Anyone attuned to the immense flood of media today knows that the true facts of any situation can be contorted to create a “new reality." Lots (most?) of IRA owners probably never think of using their IRA money for Manufactured Home investing.

• Is your net-worth more important to you than your self-worth?

by Tim Connor, CSP

tim-connor-50

I was reflecting recently on the mindsets of several friends and acquaintances that seem to be willing to sacrifice their self-worth for the uncertainty of their net-worth. Why would I say uncertainty in the previous sentence?

I don’t care how much money you have in the bank, CD’s, your retirement fund or any other equity in other sources – nothing in the future is ever totally secure which I’m sure some of you have already discovered.

Leap Year 2012

January 31st, 2012 joe No comments
February is here, it is leap year, and that means presidential election primary season. It is also time for our new February issue, and we have brought you another strong line up of topics from experts across the country.

It is always tempting for me to point out columns that may have particular importance to people in this or that segment of the Industry. I'm sorely tempted to do so again this issue!

Then it hits me…when our readers are looking carefully at each category and article, it really should be pretty self evident. Maybe I'll circle back during the month, because some of these seem particularly important, handy or time sensitive.

As always, my personal thanks to our feature writers, staff and to the sponsors and advertisers who make each issue a reality.

Without further ado, let's jump into the line up for the February 2012 issue!# #

2012: the Manufactured Housing Industry’s Year of the Turnaround?

January 1st, 2012 joe No comments

Happy New Year, 2012!

When you look at:

  • the recent rising trend in manufactured housing shipment reports,

  • when you look at the fact that the 2012 Louisville Show could shatter last year's attendance record and

  • you realize that home and other financing options are available or coming online that most would not have dreamed about in 2011,

it is easy to see why 2012 could be the year of the great Manufactured Housing Industry turn around.

Be a part of the action…

While the recent RV show held at the Kentucky Exhibition Center was down, free pre-registrations for the 2012 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show were up 10% in early December, year of year. The most recent report tells us that pre-registrations are now up 20% over the same period a year ago! Please see the articles linked below for more information.

We can now report that we have a second manufactured housing lender who has offered in writing to co-sponsor the MH Alliance Phoenix Project. With one or two more co-sponsors, it is entirely possible that a pilot project will be underway by the 2nd Quarter of 2012, or perhaps even in the late first quarter of the New Year.

Readership has been growing here! We set a new record in November. If you aren't already signed up to receive our free emailed news updates, you can sign up for free here. Start out the New Year right with the knowledge and information that can take leaders and professionals to higher heights.

No where else can you find the most news, tips and views you can use that right here at MHProNews.com. Let's dive into the new Feature Articles for January, 2012.

A Smorgasbord of Topics for Manufactured Housing Solutions and Growth

December 5th, 2010 L. A. 'Tony' Kovach No comments

We have a lot of topics to cover, but please let me start with something positive and fun:

1.
“OMG your site is unbelievably informative! Just listened to your pod cast while sitting in the doctors office! Loved it! I’ll be sure to spread the news to our members to get on board if they are not already! Appreciate all you do!” Deanna Fields, Executive Director, MHAO

It is always, always a pleasure to hear from industry leaders, business owners and executives, middle managers and the rank and file. Comments like this make our work load seem lighter, and I always share these with our team here at MHMSM.com that makes this work on the Industry’s behalf possible! By the way, we get other comments, but we use ones like the above only with permission. Thank you, Deanna, for spreading the word, and to all like you who are working for the advancement of our great industry!

If you want to see what other leaders and readers say, please click on this link:

http://www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com/what-our-readers-say

I take a few moments to mention this because Deanna and others have it right! If you and your team are reading and listening daily to what we offer, you and your team will have an edge in business that those who don’t plug in won’t have. Sports teams train and they ‘watch tape,’ video and replays of what they and their competitors do. That makes them BETTER in the big game. You and your team WILL DO BETTER because if you learn more, you will earn more.

2.
It seems that the November elections are among the reasons why Chief Executives around the country are more confident than before.

CEO COnfidence Graph

CEO Confidence Index, chart courtesy of CEO Magazine

When executives see a reason to invest in the future, maybe it is wise for us to think the same, too.

3
Friday brought us a tip on a recent development that will do more than raise an eyebrow or two in the Industry. Our Industry in Focus Reporter Eric Miller is on the trail of that story and others that will get the water cooler, phone and email conversations humming. Check in to our Daily Business News blog and please watch for more in-depth reports to follow.

4.
The Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is – according to our research – THE single hottest topic in the Industry, period. Not only is this reflected in our Google Analytics report, but another key indicator is that the early sign-ups for attendance is strong. Joe Kelly, the Executive Director of Iowa’s fine state association has given us a thoughtful message on the subject for the Industry Voices Guest Blog. Please read it. Then book yourself and your key team members to go if you haven’t already. Why?

4a.
There are already more people signed up for attending than went to MHI’s annual meeting and the International Networking Roundtable in Phoenix combined!  Dozens are signing up daily; at this rate, the show will do VERY well.

4b.
There is great info along with many seminars and services available at the show to help you grow your business, PLUS you can see dozens of new homes that would be great for your MH Community or Retail Center. Well-known Industry author, speaker and communities and development expert Eddie Hicks will be among those sharing insights in and near the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC). Where else can you go and rub shoulders and shake hands with some of the biggest names in the Industry? “Go, Louisville!”

4c.
Are you an exhibitor or planning to exhibit? Then please click on this link.

4d.
More on Louisville later, including the fact that more industry leaders have emailed me to say that they will share their reasons why YOU SHOULD BE THERE. “Those who KNOW will Go Louisville!” If some of the brightest lights in the Industry say you should go, then take a page from Nike’s ad, and just do it.

4e.
Our MHMSM.com team members will be in Louisville, including your wordy blogger, me. I hope to meet you in person. If you have one of our Manufactured Housing REVOLUTION books, bring it by for an autograph. If you don’t have a book, come by, pick one up and it will be autographed! Many of those who helped pen the Manufactured Housing REVOLUTION will be there – you should get their autographs, too!

5.
We have word that a well-known Industry personality will be sharing their A Cup of Coffee with Interview with us, likely in time for the new issue that comes out next week. We all want to know more about this person, and YOU can ‘read all about it!’ right here, exclusively. Click here to see other personalities who have done A Cup of Coffee with… exclusive interviews.

6.
Manufactured and modular housing Industry growth won’t happen by magic. There are reasons why Cavco and Clayton still find it wise to buy up chunks of this industry. They see a bright future, or they wouldn’t be doing it. There are reasons why people are still investing in MH Communities, why people are making deals to acquire more. There are reasons why some are making a profit – yes, in this economy – why, as one leader told me a few days ago, they are making more money than they ever have. Black Friday, Shopping Malls, Manufactured Housing and You

November 28th, 2010 L. A. 'Tony' Kovach No comments

Both projections and the early indicators are for a stronger consumer demand this year, as reflected by the Black Friday start of the Christmas shopping season. Since my better half loves to shop, we got a firsthand look at full mall parking lots, with people cruising to find a parking place. We saw lines at the checkout counters. Christmas music was in the stores and on the car radio, with that not so subtle annual push for Holiday cheer was in the air to make ‘smiles bright and wallets light.’

There is an excitement that is palatable for true shoppers during Black Friday. Shoppers tell others about their bargains, and how they lined up in the cold at 2 am for the 5 am opening, all to get the doorbuster deals. Interesting facts perhaps, but what is the connection between Christmas shopping at the malls and manufactured housing?

There are actually many possible take-aways, but the specific one in mind is how a good manufactured housing show, such as the 2011 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show, can provide for the Industry and pros like you benefits akin to the shopping mall experience. Let me let you in on a little secret. Our research shows that the 2011 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show is far and away the HOTTEST topic in manufactured housing at this time! Internet research, Google’s analytics and our Urchin stats underscore this fact. We are back doing record traffic at our site, perhaps due in part because we have the most news available on the 2011 Louisville MH Show. But what should be of interest to you is that the early attendance sign-ups for the show are up, up and away even far better than anticipated.

The insider whispers are that the sign-ups are at a record pace at this point, with almost two months to go until the January 12, 13 and 14th show dates in Louisville. A record now? Wow! This – and brisk mall shopping – both bode well for 2011.

But why is there, or should there be, this shopping mall and MH home show connection? Let’s take a look.

Are you in search of services and solutions to Industry related problems your enterprise has? Imagine the convenience of gathering most or all of your answers at the same place, super-mall style! What might take you weeks or months to glean other ways, can be obtained in hours or days at the Louisville MH Show. Plus you have all the benefit of face-to-face meet-and-greet interaction. At a regional home show like this, you can touch and feel products, meet the service providers, ask questions from a live person, while you size up everything from the look in their eyes to the firmness in the shake of their hands.

Like a good shopping mall, everything is under roof for the Louisville Show, at the superior Kentucky Exhibition Center (KEC).

What is better than a shopping mall is the fact that you can ride a shuttle to and from the show hotel to the KEC. Door-to-door service! Or drive your wheels and park a whole lot closer to the door than we were from the mall during shopping on Black Friday.

Are you in a business-to-business scenario? If you aren’t already exhibiting, then do what I did a few days ago, and get a booth space! I want to be where the action is, and plan to bring one or more team associates with me, too. A show like this is a great place to introduce new people to the Industry. Newcomers can be introduced to and learn in a few days what it might take months to do any other way. And since knowledge is power and time is money, the ROI and taking a promising team mate to the show can be very good indeed.

I should mention that the last count I was given was that remaining exhibit space was down to less than a dozen booth spaces. Maneuvers are also underway to see who will get the last of the show home spaces. If you want your business where the holiday mall style ACTION will be, grab one of those last show spaces NOW. Don’t snooze! Call Dennis Hill @ (770) 587-3350.

Louisville “Learn more and Earn more” opportunities include the following talks/seminar/introductions:

George F. Allen – (Col. USMC in Vietnam, of Allen Letter, TAC and Community-Investor.com fame) will explain and demonstrate to community managers and operators the “Ah, ha! Oh, no!” pricing formula for MH sales success. Good for the customer, good for you…a win-win system!

Eddie Hicks – Need to buy or refi a community? Let Eddie tell you how he can help you get competitive financing/refinancing on a community or development, even when traditional lenders have said no. Discover 207m, which some think the ‘M’ should be for “Magic!”

Ken Rishel will be presenting on profitable chattel financing NOW. If you think you can’t get MH chattel loans done today for ‘lack of financing,’ then come and attend this eye-opening ‘captive’ or sister company – in house financing – session! Ken will show you how his clients are selling more and earning more today, some earning more than ever before. Notable in this age of Big Brother, what he teaches is all legally compliant. There is a good reason Ken’s company won MHI’s 2010 Supplier of the Year award. Stop waiting for a federal bailout or the resurrection of Conseco someday, when a little leg work can bring you YOUR company’s chattel financing solution ASAP!

Bob Stovall and L. A. ‘Tony’ Kovach will present on the subject of Dominating your Local Market! Do you need more prospects? Better prospects? Then this is for YOU. This promises to give you lively and profitable insights on marketing today, combining live presentation, but also complete with a high energy video! You see how big companies are using social networking – well, you can, too! Maybe you have a website – or no website – well, learn how to make the web PERFORM and give you good ROI. Maybe your email marketing program is lacking – or just non-existent – then this is your best stop in Louisville to learn more.

Don Westphal will be presenting on the Community Series Home. If you own an MHC and need inventory to fill sites, stop and hear what Don has to say! His insights can save and/or make you MONEY. Don’s popular columns in our MHMSM.com feature articles every month are reason enough for you to come!

Want to make more money? Want to learn more so you can earn more? Then the 2011 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show should be the place for you and your team! Click the Show title to learn more details or find your easy online sign-ups.

We hope to see YOU at the SHOW!

Knowledge is Power & the Manufactured-Modular Housing People Parade

Sir Francis Bacon popularized the phrase, “Knowledge is Power.” In the information age, this is more true than ever before. Information precedes knowledge. In the biblical sense, knowledge implied intimacy. A grasp or an ‘intimacy’ with information is what yields true knowledge. Knowledge is power in the marketplace. Knowledge is the power to advance beyond your peers and competitors.

There are numerous gems for your business that follow. Some are obvious, some are subtle. If you skim this list you may miss the gem you needed for your business. Take some time with each of the personalities mentioned and you will be the winner for it.

It is no surprise that when you present top feature writers with tons of expertise – aka the power of knowledge – that industry pros flock to those pages on the www.MHMSM.com website. In fact, Google Analystics tells us that the articles by our featured writers are the top read on our main site.

In many places, holidays means parades. As we head into the 4th of July holiday weekend, I will do the first of a short series of blog posts on top industry pros featured on www.MHMSM.com. This ‘parade of manufactured housing and modular/factory built home pros’ will show you graphically how Google treats them in a search.

What this ‘parade of manufactured housing pros’ will reveal in part is the power of combining these top talents on one online trade journal website. The SEO or Search Engine Optimization this underscores is not just important to them, but to you. Why? Because they wouldn’t rank high if they weren’t being read! Because they are being read – and read here on www.MHMSM.com – it means to you that these are pros you should be reading! It also means that those who consider writing in the future have the motivation to share their expertise with you here.

Let’s do this alphabetically, starting with Joe Adams. Joe is doing a series with us called a Journey in Successful Marketing. If you are marketing homes, development or a community, you should be reading this series! If you deal with those who do, you should be recommending to them this series!

Joe-Adams-Manufactured-Housing-Marketplace2010-06-30_0634

Joe-Adams-Manufactured-Housing-Marketplace

Joe Adams has been a keynote and presenter at many Manufactured Housing Institute or MHI events. Adams heads up the MHEI or Manufactured Housing Educational Institute. With his own busy consulting practice, it is truly a privilege for our readers to be able to access this level of talent online free on our website. For those who want to take their marketing to the next level, a call to Joe should be on your agenda.

You’ll notice that even though MHMSM.com has only been online for some 9 months, we are already page 1 on a search for ‘Joe Adams manufactured housing.’ This means that our IT Manager Bob Stovall is earning his pay and that readers like you are coming in great numbers. Those are keys to this type of high placement.

George-F-Allen-Manufactured-Housing-2010-06-30_1755

George-F-Allen-Manufactured-Housing-2010-06-30

George F. Allen is certainly one of the best known personalities in the Manufactured Housing world, notably among land lease community operators. I’ve heard that George has been online even prior to Al Gore’s claim for inventing the internet. What that means is that it isn’t easy to get page 1 with someone of Allen’s stature with a new website. That said, we are pleased to reveal that the search phrase used puts Allen higher on our page than any other website. Even if you drop the F from his name, we are still page 1 on a Google search!

George-F-Allen-SEO-MHMSM.com-2010-06-30

George-F-Allen-SEO-MHMSM.com-2010-06-30

We are pleased that George is one of the members of our Advisory Council here at www.MHMSM.com He has been part of more than one story by our Industry in Focus Reports by Eric Miller, as well as in many other blogs and articles.

Linda-Beem-Capital-First-Realty-Sunset-Village-Manufactured-Housing

Linda-Beem-Capital-First-Realty-Sunset-Village-Manufactured-Housing Community

Linda Beem with Capital First Realty isn’t one of the best known people in the Manufactured Home Industry. One of the things we are proud of is that we feature ‘new’ people to the national scene – good talents like Linda Beem’s – here at www.MHMSM.com. Because of that, you get access to articles by this lady who personally closed over 360 contracts (read, sales) plus additional leases in 6 years at Sunset Village Manufactured Housing Community in Glenview, IL. When you realize that she also did some leases on top of that, manager’s should be thinking – I want my team to read her articles! Sales and leasing pros should think, I want to learn what this lady knows!

Amy-Bliss-Tomorrows-Home-Foundation-Wisconsin-Housing-Alliance-2010-06-30

Amy-Bliss-Tomorrows-Home-Foundation-Wisconsin-Housing-Alliance-2010-06-30

Amy Bliss is well known at a leader at the Wisconsin Housing Alliance (WHA) and as the head of Tomorrow’s Home Foundation. Amy’s fine articles on our pages actually make her search come up higher than the two organization’s sites she works with.

Now it is fair to ask, why are these and the other industry pros we are showing you ranked so high on our website?

MHMSM.com-Website-Statistics-June-29-2010

MHMSM.com-Website-Statistics-June-29-2010

Part of the answer is in the chart above. During the 31 days in May 2010, we finished with 24,680 visitors. That number makes us the largest industry news and views site.

MHMSM.com-Website-Statistics-June-29-2010a

MHMSM.com-Website-Statistics-June-29-2010a

This screen capture above of our MHMarketingSalesManagement.com site stats demonstrates we have already passed that May total, with one day left to go. When almost 26,000 people log onto the same site from professionals in the same industry, that tells you something good is going on here! And a big part of that ‘something’ good are our featured writers, plus our other News and Views you can Use.

When you think about the fact that almost 900 people are coming or ‘meeting’ here daily, imagine 900 Industry people in one room! Wouldn’t it be amazing if a factory built housing retail center or Manufactured Home Community had that many people visit in a day! In the course of 3 days, that would be some 2700 ‘attendees,’ how many 3 day manufactured housing conferences have you attended that had that many people show up? Point made, moving on!

Rachael-Biermann-Beth-Monicatti-Blank-All-Seasons-Communications-2010-06-30

Rachael Biermann and Beth Monicatti Blank of All Seasons Communications have graced our pages and informed our readers in more ways than one! This gives an example of the search results for those fine professionals.

Chad-Carr-GetRain-2010-06-30

Chad-Carr-GetRain-2010-06-30

Chad Carr comes from a proud family tradition connected with the Manufactured Housing industry. That means he has been online for years. Again, what makes this interesting in part is because of visits from people like you, Chad’s ranking on this website is very high on a Google search, higher than the getrain.com website. This means you should be reading Chad’s articles and calling him when you have a need for services like his, because other people are doing it!

Tim-Connor-CSP-Speaker-Trainer-Coach-2010-06-30

Tim-Connor-CSP-Speaker-Trainer-Coach-2010-06-30

Tim Connor was one of our original feature writers and also is one of our most prolific contributors! I can see why Tim has published 83 books, and having attended a number of Tim’s live presentations, I can see why he is in demand as a speaker! When you’ve delivered 4000+ live presentations in 23 countries, there has to be a reason why people read his blog, call Connor, and knowing my friend Tim well, I can tell you it is great, thought provoking content!

The last link on the screen capture above for the Tim Connor search shows the value of showing up and being covered at the same meeting.

Tim’s and my presence and a follow up report about a Wisconsin Housing Alliance function got both of us mentioned in WikiName. This is an example of the value of sharing a platform, be it virtual or real. The more great writers we have, the more attention is attracted to each one. Literally, everyone involved wins, because the pie grows.

Which reminds me of a pair of our writers, who ‘reached out’ to hundreds of past and present clients as well as prospective ones, with links to their articles on our website. What happened to their SEO and readership? It went up, of course!

But what is really amazing is when authors or professionals share the links of other writers. I heard from one gent, that when featured writer A sent the link of writer B, the man naturally read both A & B’s articles!

Susan-Frost-Sue-Frost-2010-06-30_2040

Susan-Frost-Sue-Frost-2010-06-30_2040

Sue Frost has done and extensive series of articles for us on land-home financing. As a result, our readers have many resources from her experience and she has all of the top links for the search results shown on MHMSM.com!

Mike-DuPure-The-Rocker-Man-2010-06-30

Mike-DuPure-The-Rocker-Man-2010-06-30

I nicked named Mike DuPure “The Rocker Man!” He not only plays guitar and sings, but he Rocks the House with sales, sales and more sales! It has been some months since Mike’s last article with us, but most of his key word results are still on our pages. I share this example for a number of reasons, including the Linkedin result being #1 for Mike. I recall encouraging my friend – as I have many others – to get on Linkedin and connect with me. He’s got a top spot on Linkedin on today’s keyword search! As a manufactured housing sales and management pro, that’s not a bad place to be found, just like it is a good idea to be visible on www.MHMarketingSalesManagement.com.

Doug Gorman, along with Ken Rishel and Chrissy Jackson, round out the growing number of members of our Advisory Council here at MHMSM.com. Doug has been a respected and award winning personality in the INdustry for decades! It is a pleasure to have someone of his dedication and caliber on our pages and advising us! Do you remember having A Cup of Coffee with Jamie Hammons of George Manufactured Housing Association fame! Well Google remembers! Jamie’s top results are still on our pages. We’d love to see Jamie come back and write some more when his schedule permits and to also and more state associations get involved on MHMSM.com. When the two national associations are routinely found on our pages, it is a good bet that the state associations should all be here too.

Eddie-Hicks-Manufactured-Housing-2010

Eddie-Hicks-Manufactured-Housing-2010

A Cup of Coffee with Eddie Hicks wasn’t enough, so we’ve done interviews, a brand new podcast with Eric Miller and a INdustry Trends 2010 report with Eddie, to name but a few! Perhaps those are reasons why he rates so high on Google with us? More important, is the fact that he rates high WITH YOU! INdustry Pros like YOU read Eddie Hicks’ expertise here!

If you have a community to finance to refinance or are wanting to develop, have questions about industry image, chattel lending or more, check out the new podcast Eddie did with Eric. It is bound to be a popular download this 4th of July and beyond!

Katanick, who is an SEO pro, can tell you all about the reasons why our site – and his! – get great positioning on Google!

Susan-Knowles-2010-06-30

Susan-Knowles-2010-06-30

Susan Knowles has shared her companies press releases and has written for MHMSM.com previously, so it is no surprise that her and the company she represents, Connexion Technologies, are found on our pages. 2 of the top 4 links for Susan and her firm are on the MHMarketingSalesManagement.com website.

We will cut off the alphabet with K tonight, because L. A. ‘Tony’ Kovach has had a long day, with another 4 AM start time, and it will be after 11:30 PM when this blog post is finished. But a few quick points about the above. First, it may surprise some that my top result isn’t on my own page…or is it? A closer look reveals that the 4 out of the 5 results are on one of my websites. I’ve got tons of Google search results on line, in part because of using multiple websites to enhance exposure.

Many of my INdustry and other articles have been reprinted on other people’s websites, that’s cool too.

When you are talking about countless websites online, it simply pays to do all that you can to enhance your exposure! As many of the searches above prove, people with their own websites may be surprised to see that they rank higher on our MHMSM.com site than their own! Savvy searchers wanting background information will often specifically go to sites that aren’t directly connected to that individual or their company.

We started off with a parade of INdustry personalities, and we will continue that parade perhaps this 4th of July weekend, along with some other Independence holiday treats!

We also started off talking about the fact that Knowledge is Power. Readers ARE Leaders! Those Industry pros like you who read – or now listen and learn on our podcasts – will over time produce better results than those who don’t. Combined with the right attitude, that is almost guaranteed. Why?

Because Knowledge is Power. Information proceeds Knowledge. And you can’t find more up to date information about the manufactured and factory built housing world in any other single industry publication that here at MHMSM.com. Over 25,000 professionals who have come here though June 29, 2010 can’t be wrong.

Take that to the bank!##
